The background papers are from the Fabulous Power Palette. After waiting patiently all month, my mom was so happy to finally have her calendar for 2012. I also made a second set for a co-worker. Gifts with a creative touch are the best!

Workshop Recap: PicFolio Calendar
Our 2012 calendar inserts were a huge hit this past Sunday! We are thinking of making this an annual workshop. For 2013, we'll probably create the inserts in December (then we'll get more use out of the January page!). Using the Cricut allowed us to quickly create seasonal themes for each month... Bliss designed the odd months, and I took care of the even months. I absolutely loved the designs she used. The calendar grid was (of course) created in Storybook Creator. Here is the fruit of our labor...

Customer Corner: Candice's Christmas Gifts
I was recently inspired to feature one of my customers, Candice, in my blog. Candice is a busy wife and mom of three adorable kids. She attended our Santa's Workshop session back in November, as she was hoping to get some ideas for homemade Christmas gifts for her daughters' teachers. Instead of shopping at a craft fair to pick up similar items, she was ambitious and decided to create her own! I am soooo proud of her end result. Take a peek...
I love the vibrant colors of the coordinating sets she created. Her stationery set includes a mini composition book (one of my favorites), clipboard and pad, jumbo clip, and recipe holder. She said she made 15 of these sets! I am thrilled that she gleaned ideas from our workshop and was inspired to make her very own unique products. In her words, "if someone like me can do it, ANYONE can." But I know from experience that it does take quite an effort to pull together a project like this! I hope Bliss and I can continue to inspire crafting beyond our workshop sessions... Thanks so much for sharing, Candice!

January Workshop: 2012 Calendar PicFolio
We'll be doing a repeat of our first workshop of 2011, as we begin a new calendar year of Sunday crafting. The super versatile PicFolio will be used again, and for 2012, we'll create calendar inserts using seasonal embellishments from the Cricut. Your kit will also include a pack of basic supplies (NEW tape runner, precision point adhesive, and foam squares), which will help you complete our projects throughout the year. Here are more details...
This is a sneak peak of my February insert. The calendar, of course, was created in Storybook Creator. Bliss and I will be designing alternating months. Hope you can join us for our first workshop of the year!

Happy New Year: Time to Organize!
2012 is here! I'm so excited to continue posting this year and stretch my creativity in the world of scrapbooking, paper crafts, and design. Since yesterday was a holiday, it was the perfect time to clean out my scrapbooking storage area... I love nothing more than a good purge and getting rid of clutter! So these are the piles I wanted to go through and re-organize...Bleh! All the open packaging, messy baskets, and random collection of items were starting to bother me. After throwing away some random paper and samples (yup, just got to do it sometimes) and putting supplies in their proper home, I was happy to downsize a little to start off the new year.
Much better! Also, you may notice that I didn't include the brown (with pink stripes) CM Power Sort Box in this photo. During my re-organize session, I discovered that it was empty and waiting to be put to use...
... for organizing cards from our workshops! We've actually sold the Power Sort Box with this purpose in mind, but this is the first time I'm actually organizing my cards in it. With the help of the P-touch label maker, I added categories to the dividers and quickly filled up the box. Yay! I was pleased with the completion of this small project.
