Spring Sale: March 18-28
It feels like a while since CM has had a sale! Check on my website for a ton of traditional products that are now 40% off. Products include cardstock packs (starting at $4.80), punches, Simply Said books, paper packs, and more! Quantities are limited.
Even more exciting is the digital sale, as all artwork and downloads are now 30% off. Perfect time to upgrade to Storybook Creator 4.0 or build your artwork collection!
Workshop Update: More Borders and Bows
Bliss created a whimsical set of cards using the Cricut Reminisce cartridge for her embellishments. I love her borders and the use of the embossed cardstock (my new favorite!).
Meanwhile, just in the nick of time, I finished my two remaining projects for Sunday's workshop. I found this super simple treat holder idea on Pinterest.
And I've been wanting to create a project using envelopes, since I have a ton leftover from all my Zazzle orders. I was excited when I found a tutorial on the Paper Source website to create an envelope accordion. I created a simpler version that can be used to organize lists, notes, and coupons.

bring your tape runner!
The beautiful embossed cardstock and designer prints from the "P.S. I Love You" paper pack are our inspiration for this month's workshop.
My initial goal was to create borders using CM's new border making tool. However, I realized I only had one cartridge: picket fence. Since that didn't really work with the designs of the our paper pack, I turned to other types of borders: paper ribbon and strips of printed paper. I also found some neat card designs on Pinterest again that I wanted to incorporate into this set.
Stay tuned... I plan to make two more small projects: a simple treat holder and an envelope accordion. I hope you can join us next Sunday!

A Trip to Paper Source
In one of my first posts of the new year, I talked about creating lined envelopes using tools ordered from Paper Source's website. On a recent trip to southern California, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Paper Source is not only online, but they have a storefront as well! We visited the store on State Street in Santa Barbara.
What a fun store! Since I didn't have a project in mind, I controlled myself and only picked up a few items. I bought some envelope seals and a birthday card kit. Can't wait to put the kit together...

Stampin Up! Inspiration
On Saturday, I attended Shereen's card workshop using Stampin Up! products. We did 4 cards and repeated them 3 times. I don't consider myself a good stamper (I get so nervous!), but I always enjoy learning new craft techniques. Here's a shot of the 4 cards we created. Can't wait to add them to my collection...

During our crafting time this month, we'll be pulling out the Enchanted Papers and embellishments to create cards and little gifts with a feminine flair. Bliss has some projects in mind, including a CD holder and tea favors. Recently, I've found inspiration on Pinterest, which is a crafter's dream! All of my card designs/projects this month were patterned after something I've found on Pinterest.

Sneak Peak of New Products
Every other month is a new product launch... Here are videos featuring the brand new Shape Maker and a new album (It's a Boy!) in the Fast to Fabulous collection. Love them both - so excited to order them in March!
